It has just been confirmed that at least 45 female students who were earlier abducted are now free. It is yet to be ascertained if they were freed by the military or if they somehow escaped on their own.
Other parents and guardians of the abducted girls have cried out and are expecting the Nigerian Military to bring back their kids and wards hail and hearty.
Boko Haram leader, Imam Abubakar Shekau, in a recently released video, claims boko haram is responsible for the attacks that killed 71 people in the Monday attacks but did not make any mention of the student abductions in Borno.
