Dangers of Modernization to Lagos Girls

Modernization has it's benefits but also has it's downsides when used senselessly. I always find it amazing how easily swayed a lot of Lagos girls can get, all in the name of FA (feel or feeling among). A lot of otherwise decent girls have turned themselves into "feel-Amongers" for no sensible reason. I do not understand because their current state of mind can either cause them their

  • pride/dignity,
  • relationships
  • lives

I would ask a few questions just to buttress my point;

  1. What shall it profit a girl to accept an outing with a guy, only for them to get there, she order her food and drinks while constantly chatting on her phone or tab and totally ignoring the guy who took her out to spend his precious time and money on her? Na carpenter carve the guy?
  2. What is the wisdom or lack of it thereof, when after eating and drinking to her satisfaction, she then orders take away for her "room mates" or friends, all on the guys' bill? Is he their father?
  3. What is the common sense behind Lagos girls walking in the middle of the road, with their earphones plugged into their ears with the volume on max and chatting at the same time? Do they have eyes on top of their heads and ears on their asses?
  4. Why take pictures in hotel and club bathrooms? Will your camera phones not work on the dancefloor or any other decent place? If they must, don't they have bathrooms in their hostels or in their parents houses?
I would appreciate if you all took some time out to add in the comment box, as many more as you can remember

Insane Ancient Medical Cures - Trepanation

Trepanation
Trepanation is a fancy word for drilling holes in your head. This is actually the oldest surgical procedure known to man as humans have been intentionally knocking holes in their skulls dating back to the time of cavemen, giving hope to anyone who's had to watch the sitcom starring the Geico cavemen that all of them might die in a trepanation experiment horribly gone wrong in an upcoming episode.
Historically trepanation was most commonly used as treatment for seizures and migraines. Surprise, surprise. Having a gaping hole drilled in your skull (usually without anesthesia) did very little to help people's headaches or brain issues. Trepanation was also used as an extreme form of cosmetic/experimental body modification amongst several societies such as the Incans and Mayans. These societies also got largely wiped out, then a few hundred years later suffered the indignity of having an insulting Mel Gibson movie made about them, so it didn't really work out that well.

Oh, and yes, a few brilliant individuals still practice trepanation to this day. To give you an idea of the oh-so-solid ground today's trepanation supporters' beliefs are built on, the biggest modern proponent of trepanation is a "Doctor" Bart Hughes. We put doctor in quotations marks because he never actually finished medical school. That's right kids, you, too, can be a college dropout and yet still go onto a career convincing people around the world to do incredibly retarded things, so reach for those stars.
