Doesn't it feel like yesterday that Eminem was rapping about his little girl, Hailie Jade Scott Mathers, in "Hailie's Song"?
Well, it appears that his little girl isn't so little anymore! Her Twitter profile picture not only reveals how grown up she is but also how gorgeous she is. Her selfie shows how much she looks like her mom, Kim Mathers, and her dad! But she is more than just a pretty face. In fact, the 18-year-old is incredibly smart!
Hailie graduated from
high school last June Summa Cum Laude, with a grade-point average of at least 3.9. Although her famous dad, whose real name is Marshall Mathers, has paid tribute to his daughter in several of his songs, Hailie reciprocated when she named her parents as the people who were "Most Influential During My Lifetime" in a school newsletter.
"My mother and father are because they have pushed me to be the person I am and have given me all the support to achieve what I have," she said.
Hailie was also crowned homecoming queen at her high school, and both of her parents were on-hand to celebrate the feat. She arrived to the ceremony with her mom, but the "Lose Yourself" rapper watched proudly from the stands. Although he had a rough time growing up, Eminem opened up to Rolling Stone and said that being a father was most important to him. As for what "being a father" means, he told the magazine, "Just being there.
"Not missing things. If there's anything important going on, regardless of what it is, I'm there," he continued. "Helping them with homework when you can. At the grades my older ones are in, it's hard. I never even passed ninth grade. They're already way smarter than me."
He must certainly be one incredibly proud father with Hailie graduating with such high honors!
Hailie is the only biological daughter Eminem and his ex-wife share, although he has custody of Whitney and another daughter, Aliana, whose mother is Kim's twin sister, Dawn.
