We all understand that Brazilians are very passionate about soccer. Remember 2 years ago during a local village match in Brazil when a ref was beheaded by fans after he fatally stabbed a player? You don't believe?

After having read that, I guess now, it would seem less surprising that Brazilian refs are now coming to the field "packing".... "well strapped"!!!! Yes ooo. Before they all start "losing their heads" over a game of soccer.
This past weekend, Brazilian ref Gabriel Murta, wasn't taking chances. He ensured he kept his
head permanently attached to his body as he pulled out a pistol right there in the field of play. Reportedly, this happened after ref Murta was kicked and slapped by players demanding a red card for the rival team.... Kicked and slapped??? Ohh noooo!!! In Brazilian soccer, this is sometimes followed by being short of a head.The match organizing body reports that ref Murta will go for psychological evaluation after with he may be suspended of banned.
Na wah oo. After all this the man still gets to walk the streets a free man.
Let's look on the brighter side; He has sealed his position in the hall of shame of the Extraordinary League of Gun Toting Refs (ELGTR). The only other ref I'm aware of in this league is Ed Hochuli.
