Obi of Issele-Uku and Delta Governor’s aide, Sunny Ofili, Both Die in auto crash

  

The special adviser to the Delta State governor on information and communication technology 
(ICT) Sunny Ofili, and the Obi of Issele-Uku, Henry Ezeagwunam (both pictured above), 
died yesterday August 9th in a fatal car crash in Delta state.

Mr Ofili, Obi Ezeagwunam, who was driving and his son were traveling in an SUV when they 
crashed into a stationery lorry laden with gravel at the Utulu Junction on the 
Benin-Asaba-Onitsha expressway. 

The car somersaulted several times and burst into flames. All three passengers 
were burnt to death 

Late Mr Ofili used to be a blogger based in Maryland, USA  and edited a website 
called 'Times of Nigeria" before moving to Nigeria to work for the government. 
He had indicated interest in running for a seat in the Delta State House of Assembly 
before his unfortunate passing.
