Borno: 120 Killed as Boko Haram Launches Fresh Attack on Giwa Barracks

Barely 24 hours after Islamic sect, Boko Haram launched an attack on Giwa
Barracks in Maiduguri, in Borno State to free some of their members
detained
in the Barrack, the second set of the attackers stormed the Barracks this
Saturday morning
However, the military intercepted them, killing hundreds while others, who fled
are being pursued by soldiers.
The sect members succeeded in breaking the cell where their members were
detained during the attack on Friday, but the military overwhelmed them killing
all that were freed and those that went to free them.
“Those who were killed during the attack on Saturday are some Arabians,
confirming the speculation that the Boko Haram sect has some foreign support.
They would not succeed, and I believe their end has come”, he added.
Meanwhile, residents of Maiduguri are to remain indoors after the military
announced a curfew from 7 am to 2 pm
