Katsina state, NorthWest Nigeria, a state known for it's peace and calm amidst all the turmoil in the core northern states has been hit by a deadly spate of violence.
A statesman in Katsina state has confirmed the death of 69 people when gunmen went on rampage on okadas, killing men, women and children.
No one has claimed responsibility for this attack, but it's suspected that herdsmen are responsible.
