EPINEC HOSTS A RECEPTION FOR SPECIAL CORRECTIONAL CENTRE
FOR GIRLS FOR THE TWELFTH EDITION OF THE CHARITY LOUNGE WITH THE CODE NAME
CHIPBOK™ IN COMMEMORATION OF INTERNATIONAL CHILDREN DAY ON THE CLOUD
EPINEC
is hosting the Special Correctional Centre for Girls in collaboration with
Creative5 as part of plans for the International Children Day and Charity
Lounge 12.0 at an exclusive reception on the Cloud. The Open invitation luncheon holds on Friday, 29 of May 2015
to celebrate the Girl-Child in
Education with a Book Reading Offline APP
Initiative.
“We are enthusiastic to have EPINEC, AWAS-GYA, YALI
recognize the outstanding value of the #UpForSchool
AND #Africa4Her Edition and to host
the Children Day Celebration,” said YALI
Elda David who is head of the Central Working Committee for the event. “We look
forward to a cultural afternoon and a showcase of technology to save”
The
reception is another highlight in the schedule of raising awareness and support
for the pledge towards the 10.5 million children in Nigeria that will not go to school.
In fact, Nigeria has the highest out-of-school population in the world
and increasing levels of violence have targeted children for wanting to go to
school and learn especially for the female children and its over 365 days and
we still plead with the authorities to #BringBackOurGirls Alive and Now!
During the Event, the Creative5 would also announce a revolutionary
partnership with EPINEC, YALI Network Members and A World
at School Global Youth Ambassadors to present #GirlsWithTheOrangeBook
with the code name as CHIPBOK™
“Every
quarter, we are over-whelmed by the complete passion of triumph and motivation
that we find from our inductees and the supported charities,” said Chaste Inegbedion,
who is Convener of the Charity Lounge and a GYA. “This quarter, we are eager to deliver our pledge to
heighten the sustainability of ISR, especially since more of our focus is
celebrating the Nigerian child with Challenges just like our 9th
edition at the Pacelli School for the Blind and the 10th Edition
held at the Down Syndrome. We look forward to joining EPINEC & Partners in celebrating
our choice charity & female advocates who are living their lives in the
overhaul for others without seeking attention especially the 100 CEOs for Girls
led by Toyin Alakanpo of CSR Children, EIE Nigeria Representative, Yemi Ademolekun,
British Council Director Arts, Ojoma Ochai, Wellbeing Foundation Founder, Toyin
